thats not correct.

the car stock is pushing 14 psi there abouts. the ECU will cut out and goto inot limp mode at 17.8 abouts.

there is room to grow right out of the box on this car. just need to do some research.

1 the "r spec" pack turned into the GT (canada) Track ( USA) the only model you can get a LSD in canada is on the GT on the 2.0t and v6. the spoiler is a factory installed option in canada where it comes standard equip on the track pack USA.

The R-Spec won't include a sunroof like the GT and Track do. The idea behind the R-spec is to reduce weight.

Only with the 2.0T, the v6 GT comes in both manual and automatic.

The guy in that video could not seem less excited to be talking about it... really not a great person to be doing a presentation like that. The car weighs ~100lbs less than the v6 equivalent, and that's almost entirely coming off the front wheels. Only 3300lbs and change for the 2.0T I've got. :Cheers

you can ONLY get the gt with a 6spd. no auto avail currently.

and if anyone tells you the motor is the same as the EVO dont belive them. the only thing they share is the block and Hyundai only buys it from the same company... and from what i have heard the EVO block is forged and this one is not.

The R-spec has not been released. it was never the GT nor the Track version of the car.
It will not be coming to Canada at all though.

In Canada, all v6 models come with LSD.
The spoiler is also not factory installed. its dealer installed.

The block is the same design, but you are correct it is not forged like the Evo. The rest of the motor is different components.
But i have to correct you, they do not buy the blocks from the same company. This is part of the Global Engineering Manufacturing Aliance.
